Mr Baillie was a very special teacher. My form and I begged to have him for a 2nd year as our form tutor back in 2004/5, even though it was against the rules he made it happen. I had learning difficulties at school, which made it hard for me to concentrate. Many teachers had me down as a troublemaker but not Mr Baillie, he understood I was a good kid. I could tell you countless stories of when he would sit me down and tell me I was just as smart as any other girl in my year. He instilled in me a confidence that allowed me to be proud of myself and I am now a professional musician that tours the world. Teachers like him truly make a difference to non accidemic students like me. He was a great man and will be missed, my condolences.
